THE HEARNS

Basketball. We like being a part of it. We always have.

My mother visited us from Chicago recently. After dinner one night, she said, "Crane and Tonya, you guys are sick!"

"Why?" we asked.

"Because the only thing you talked about at the dinner table was basketball!"

"No it wasn't," we defended.

"Yes it was! And you don't even realize it! Basketball is the only thing you guys talked about all evening! And the kids talked about nothing but basketball right along with you!"

Later, we discovered that mom was right. We didn't realize it. We really enjoy the GAME of basketball.
But, we've always known it as just that, a fun GAME.

Our Starting Line-Up:

CENTER-Crane Hearn, 6'4"
strengths <> scoring points for the Kingdom through uplifting future players! Crane grew playing ball up in central Ft. Wayne since he was a kid. He played at Elmhurst & later at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.
He earned his basketball officiating license in 1993.

POINT GUARD-Tonya Hearn, 5'4"
strengths <> setting screens through self-sacrifice to continue battling the enemy! Tonya came to the Fort from North Miami High School in Denver (DENVER, INDIANA). She played on the school team for a year.
She has coached girls ball at North Side & South Side High Schools and two AAU boys' teams.

POWER FORWARD-Reggie Hearn, 6'3"
strengths <> studying the Word through living a Christian life on and off the hardwood! Reggie was born in the Fort, played Upward ball, is a Senior at Snider, and an Honor Roll student on the varsity b-ball squad.

SHOOTING GUARD-Sydney Hearn, 4'5"
strengths <> loving Jesus, obeying God and learning to display all the above through her daily actions!
Sydney lived in Denver, IN shortly before moving to the Fort to be raised by her parents who wed in 2005.
She plays in the Y-Ball Program and is a cheerleader for Upward Basketball.
