Fort Wayne, IN – July 1, 2008 – Fort Wayne's Best has announced Omar Waller as Player of the Week for the week of June 29. Waller led Team Promise to back-to-back wins, with an average of 22.5 points.

Fort Wayne, IN – June 25, 2008 – Fort Wayne's Best has chosen Maurice Benson as Player of the Week for the week of June 22. Benson led Team Justice with an average of 32 points over both games.

New Season Begins for Fort Wayne's Best  

Fort Wayne, IN – June 16, 2008 – Best Leagues, an affiliate league of the American Basketball Association, began its men’s summer league this week after a pro-style draft night on June 8.  This summer, Best Leagues has expanded from 10 to 12 teams, and is proud to have 100 men who represent the BEST talent in the city playing in the faith-based program.  In the last two years, BEST Leagues has seen tremendous growth as it partnered with the ABA as an affiliate.  “Because of our relationship with the ABA and our agreement with Brand40 Athletics we have been able to attract players from all levels of basketball," says Commissioner Bill Hickle. “We are looking forward to our BEST season yet and looking for the BEST 5 players to receive a free tryout to any ABA team in the country.” For more information, click on the Fort Wayne’s Best link or contact the league office at 260-447-3578.
